Often abbreviated as HBO, Halo.Bungie.Org is the most popular fansite for the Halo series. Its webmaster, Louis Wu, has appeared in a documentary included on the DVD.

Stephen Loftus created a site that allowed users to compare size ratios of different characters from Halo 1 and Halo 2. At the site you can choose a character from each list, hit 'Compare' and characters are shown to scale. The measure in the background denotes feet. (The Master Chief, for example, is exactly 7ft tall.)

However, the most notable feature of the Halo Story Page is the Halo Story Timeline, the most detailed and complex timeline of the Halo series on the internet.

- "Louis Wu", the HBO webmaster, is the name of a character in Ringworld, a book which inspired Halo. The webmaster's real name is Claude Errera.
