so i've been searching online trying to find out if John 117 was the only surviving spartan since the fall of reach, and i found out there are at least 18 but i don't know if that's true or not, i read that they are either MIA or working as officers and injured. could someone tell me if this is true or not, and if you can tell me some names?

There are currently at least 16 spartan 2s left, here is the evidence: http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/SPARTAN-II_Program? just go down, and it will tell you who is MIA, KIA or on active duty. i'm not sure exactly how many but there are a few surviving ones - Ediskrad327 07:30, December 11, 2011 (UTC)
I don't know exactly how many, but there are indeed several still around. Not sure if there's as many as 18, but there are a bunch. Serithi 05:58, December 12, 2011 (UTC)
There are a few That i know of, there are a bunch of spartan III's, but as for the ones like john the spartans II's, i know there is atleast Naomi-010, Kelly, and the retired spartan, i think her name is Miranda-062, thats all i know by memory. I count at least four SPARTAN II's. Fred, Linda, Kelly, and retired earth Spartan. After that, there are eight or nine S-III's left, Olivia, Ash, and Mark, from Gamma company, team Saber, all of team Katana, which is five, and the possible number nineis Jun, having actually survived the fall of Reach, he may not have survived the further ocupation, however. Then, after Halo 3, the UNSC began the Spartan-IV project, using adults instead of children. Scarecrowbill 8:08 AM 12/15/2011
You forgot John, Naomi and Gray Team, which makes 5 more II's. Plus, there's the 3 II's from Halo Wars, we don't know if they're still alive but we also don't know if they're dead, so it's kind of undecided... just to quickly go off-topic here, now that i think about it there's those 3 pods with people in them along with the others that have those III's (were they Saber or Katana? I can't remember), what if those 3 have the Halo Wars Spartans? Serithi 11:09, December 16, 2011 (UTC)
HOW CAN YOU ALL FORGET!! grey team who was not in reach during the fall, they were far away when reach fell and when the war ended. Adriana, mike, and jai are still out there in mk IV armor.
For a start, sign your comments. Secondly, i just said Gray Team is still alive. And in fact, it just occured to me that maybe those 3 pods might actually hold Gray Team instead of the 3 Spartans from Halo Wars. Guess we won't know until at least the next book :P. Grey team, red team from halo wars john and the three traped inside the shield world 11 over all
Dude, SIGN YOUR COMMENTS. And we've already pointed out John, Gray Team, and the Spartans in Onyx (who eventually get out in Glasslands), and we don't know yet if the Spartans from Halo Wars are still alive. In total, i count 18, not counting the Halo Wars Spartans until we know they're still alive (Jun counts, since it was either Bungie or 343i who confirmed he's still alive). And yeah, there's the Spartan IV's, though we don't know how many there are yet. Serithi 11:43, December 23, 2011 (UTC)
Don't forget that team Black (4 Spartans-II) from Halo: Blood Line is still out there~ Dainermall 12:00, December 23, 2011 (UTC)
^ Ahh yes, that makes 22. Serithi 00:06, December 24, 2011 (UTC)
what about the spartan I are we counting them :skull107 december 23 , 2011
I doubt it, they're not technically Spartans. "SPARTAN" was given to the second generation or super-soldiers, the SPARTAN-II's, and while colloquially the first generation are known as SPARTAN-I's, they were Project ORION and not SPARTAN. Also, that's not how you sign your post, either click the "signature" button near the top of the screen, or just make 4 ~'s (~~ then two more, with no spaces between any of them. I can't show the whole thing, since that would actually sign the post instead of showing the ~'s. Easier to just click the signature button). Serithi 23:56, December 24, 2011 (UTC)
I know we aren't counting the Halo Wars spartans, but how about Omega Team? I think they're helping out in the 3rd of 4th mission. Bigbang project 23:07, January 5, 2012 (UTC)bigbang project
Never said we aren't counting the Halo Wars ones, just that we don't know their fate. That includes Omega. Also, it was the 5th mission. --Serithi 02:35, January 6, 2012 (UTC)
I read that some other spartans from the fall of reach have survive, because there was a foreruner crystal that transporte them away from the planet, not sure where but they are alive and ( going off topic) please don't included the spartans III they aren't real spartans in my opinion, they where cheap imitation of the class II which in this question they are asking if there are other spartans like john left which in my count with john, three from blue team, three from gray team, four from black team, the ones that where too injured from the experiment which i think was about 11 or more but lets not count them, and the few others from red team not sure how many but lets say there where five ( just in my opinion probably not true ) there is a total count of 16 out of the 33 originaly 37 including black team which was top secret even amount there spartan brothers, that are still alive
i remeber reading somewhere that halowars happened very early in the time scale and that they were the first humans to encounter the flood but they couldnt tell any other humans because they only just escaped without a shaw fujiwaka drive and that their status is currently unkown, but as far as i am aware any theories on them is just pure speculation, half these spartans like gray team, halo wars and all the crappy halo anime will probably never get mentioned again though..... The Spartans from Gamma company have become Spartan IVs. Blue team has been rescued already. Most SpartanIIs are dead of course. The only Spartan I am unsure of is Jun. Novabomb1 9:20, February 4, 2012 (UTC)
- Spartan-IIIs from Gamma company could not become Spartan-IVs. Jun is a Spartan-III. Dainermall 14:23, February 4, 2012 (UTC)
- Alright, i went on a search on this just for you dude so heres what i came up with. there are 19 surviving SPARTAN II's that i counted. No SPARTAN III's were included. Of course theres John as the mainly known survivor. Theres also Grey Team(Adrianna, Mike, and Jai), Blue Team(Linda, Fred, and Kelly(READ GHOSTS OF ONYX), Red Team (Jerome, Alice, and Douglas(Halo Wars Spartans). If your counting, thats 10 right there. There were the ones that survived augmentations but didnt come out right(Fhajad, Rene, Kirk, and Serin). Now up to 14. There was Victor(AKA Black Four), Joseph, Carris, Cassandra, and Maria. Count those all up and you have 19. Out of the 33 that survived augmentations, that means 14 died or went MIA(technically all went MIA thanks to ONI Directive 930). Hope this helped you my friend "Feet first into HELL!" 01:11, February 19, 2012 (UTC)
- "No SPARTAN-III's included. remember some status are unknown.
- Are you stupid or something if your not soposed to count the spartan-III's then don't count Jun he was just one of the handpicked spartan III's from alpha company.Oskarelfvin 07:42, March 27, 2012 (UTC)Spartan-026
