Crewman 1 is the generic name for the unnamed voice part of a UNSC naval crewman in Halo: Combat Evolved. His only line is, "they're right behind us!" from the level The Pillar of Autumn.

- Crewman 1 was voiced by Matt Soell.
- Other lines were planned, but according to Martin O'Donnell, there was "no space on the disc for a guy with no discernible acting skills and a singing voice like a mule in a garbage truck."[1]
- Crewman 1 became a running joke with Bungie. Marty even spoke of creating a game around him.[2] Marty later continued the joke by saying, "screenshots soon ™."[3]
