Spartan Jared Miller is a SPARTAN-IV stationed on the UNSC Infinity who serves as Fireteam Crimson's handler. Miller specializes in communications and guided Crimson through their missions by highlighting objectives and warning Crimson of potential hazards.

• Miller was originally designed to appear more grisly and battle-scarred. This appearance was changed because it didn't pair well with his casted voice actor.
• Miller wasn't based on a scan of an actor and was one of the few heads modeled completely.
• Miller carries a magnum with him at all times.
