The Damascus Ordnance Commission,[1] also known as the UNSC Ordnance Commission,[2][3] is a series of commissions headed by the major corporations in the powered armor industry, and sponsored by ONI.[4] It was held at the Damascus Testing Facility.[5]

HistoryEdit

There was an Ordnance Commission in May 2553.[4][6] At this Commission, it was decided that Imbrium Machine Complex would take over production of the Recon Armor.[6] It was also ruled that the need for defense focused armor was valid and helped set strictures that would lead to the creation of the Defender Armor.[7] They also ruled that the Mark VI Armor could still be used among GEN2 armors.[8] The cost of the Oceanic Armor caused operation of the armor to only be allowed with level-four approval by the Commission.[9] The Commission also allowed Hannibal Weapon Systems to create a GEN2 variant of the Rogue Armor.[10] Since the Enforcer Armor passed tests as per Ankara Field Stricture BL58-0, it was approved by the Commission.[1]

Another Commission took place in 2557. At this Commission, the "Ruptive" weapon skin was approved for use with the M395B DMR,[2] M6H2 Pistol,[3] M20 SMG,[11] BR85N Battle Rifle,[12] and the MA5D Assault Rifle.[13]
