DLC Objective is a retired gametype that was introduced by Bungie. It consisted of 12 players total and 2 teams of six each. It was based on objective-based games such as CTF and Assault, and occasionally King of the Hill. These games were played on maps that were introduced in the Heroic map pack. This playlist was once the "Heroic DLC" playlist, but was split into DLC Slayer and DLC Objective. Once the Legendary map pack came out, they were the only maps playable on it. This changed in a Bungie weekly update, in which now all the DLC maps were playable on this playlist.

In the June update, asymmetric gametypes appeared often on Avalanche and symmetric gametypes now appear more often on Ghost Town and the Heroic map pack, was back on the DLC playlist alongside the Legendary maps.

TriviaEdit

  • DLC objective was retired when Auto Update 2 took place. It has now been replaced with DLC Big Team, which has a mix of objective and slayer-based games.
  • This was one of the most widely played playlists.
  • Avalanche and Ghost Town were the 2 main maps that came up in this playlist.
