Circinius IV was the only known colonized planet in the Circinius system. It was part of the Unified Earth Government and was home to the Corbulo Academy of Military Science.
Human-Covenant War

The planet was invaded by the Covenant during a surprise attack in 2526. Many people died during the invasion and the only known survivors of the attack were the three remaining members of Hastati Squad;April Orenski, Michael Sullivan, and Thomas Lasky. They were rescued by SPARTAN-II Master Chief Petty Officer John-117.[1]
