What to do about the timeline[]

So the timeline has now been broken up apparantly into seperate pages connected via a template, Template:Timeline. But now we a bunch of pages trying to navigate every year for example, 2000s or 21st Century. With the new Timeline Template these pages are kind of redundant. Should these pages be deleted? --Esemono 02:40, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

Make One Page?[]

Now, the timeline doesn't seem like much of a timeline at all. It's just a page with a list of links. I propose that the timeline be brought into one page instead of all of the seperate pages. In a single page it will seem a lot more organised and more like a timelime. Breif summaries of the years events should be in dot points and in non-biased views (ie no "our"). --Shadow181 12:42, 6 November 2008 (UTC)--

That's be a pretty huge page. I think having pages for years, decades or longer periods depending on how "eventful" they were would be a good compromise, though. --Andrew Nagy 18:02, January 2, 2010 (UTC)

Template[]

Does anyone know a template using "wikimarkup" or HTML that would look like a time line? That would be really handy for all of us that would want to add some facts to this pageand make it look organized. --Victor-195 20:27, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

I found a timeline that me be of some use. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Timeline_of_lighting_technology. Again, it may be long, but we could break it up into more than one page. - ResilientMonkey 20:56, September 29, 2010 (UTC)

The calender timeline is missing significant dates?[]

It seems as if it only starts post-humanity settling Earth. It makes no mention of, for example, the Forerunner-Precursor war which starts at 10,100,000 BCE. No blue 10,1000,000 BCE link leading to a page.. This suggest that more are missing. Are these related to the reason why the page is a stub and shall they be added? --Theh5 (talk) 15:45, July 2, 2018 (UTC)
