Carmichael is a Spartan-IV soldier assigned to the UNSC Infinity. He served during the Second Battle of Requiem as Fireteam Shadow's mission handler. When the Refuge was attacked, he requested assistance from Shadow. Spartan Jared Miller asked for their assistance without going through Carmichael, something which he apologized for.[1]
