Bungie Pro was a 12-month subscription service that was purchasable on Xbox Live for 750 Microsoft points. Bungie Pro enhanced a player's Halo 3 and Halo: Reach File Share by increasing its capacity from six slots and 25MB in Halo 3 or 100MB in Halo: Reach to twenty-four slots and 250MB in Halo 3 or 1000MB in Halo: Reach.

The size increase lasted until the subscription expired. Upon expiration, a player's File Share would revert to normal only if their extra slots were unused. If a player continued to use their extra storage space after their subscription expired, their File Share would not be reverted until they reduced it to meet the limitations of a normal File Share. However, the player would not be able to upload new content until their subscription was renewed or their Share was reverted.

Bungie Pro also provided players with Render to Video service, which rendered Theater film clips to video.

Bungie Pro was retired as part of Halo's transition to Microsoft management. On September 15, 2011, Bungie stopped offering 6-month subscriptions. Full support was phased out on March 22, 2012. Those whose Bungie Pro subscriptions expired after this date were allowed to keep their 24 slots.
