Advanced Survey Team Alpha was a possible Forerunner Naval unit attached to the Primary Pioneer Group.[1] They were sent to G617 g1 to investigate the disappearance of a Primary Pioneer Group, where they encountered the Flood, sparking the Forerunner-Flood war.
