The AC-163 Gunship was an aircraft designed for aerial assault. It was a further development of earlier gunships such as the AC-47 Gunship, AC-119 Gunship and the AC-130 Gunship, and its core attributes remained in the series as far as the AC-220 Gunship of 2498.[1]
