88947-OP24 was the serial number for an experimental drug synthesized and used by the UNSC. It was classified as a "retina-inversion stabilizer" drug. It increased color sharpness of sight and enhanced the ability of the user to see at night. This substance was used on the Spartan-III supersoldiers, being significantly safer than the drugs used on the Spartan-II supersoldiers.[1]
