In 2547, Section Two goes public with the Spartan-II Program in order to boost morale during the Human-Covenant War. Still many consider Spartans to be "stuff" of legend, unless having encountered one because they are said to have each killed thousands of Covenant. The existence of the Spartan-III Program is still confidential.[1]
